Nemak Leadership Journey for Mid-Level Managers continues in Europe

Mid of June, 24 Mid-Level Managers from Europe gathered in Wiesbaden/Germany to take part in the second module of their Nemak Leadership Journey.

On the first day the participants were given the opportunity to showcase the status of their individual Key Leadership Challenges. They started working on those after commencing their journey earlier this year. The following days then had a strong focus on our Nemak Competencies Creativity & Innovation, Change Management and Collaboration.

The second module of the Leadership Journey also was the first time the teams of six pre-selected Group Innovation Challenges came together as dedicated groups. Here they can now practice how to lead innovation within Nemak. Prior to the second module all participants were asked to propose potential innovations. Out of those proposals the BU Management chose six to make sure the final ones are vital for reaching Nemak`s objectives and in line with Nemak`s strategy.

Until February 2020 the teams will continue working on their respective challenges, strongly aligned with their sponsors from the European Nemak senior management. Next year the teams are expected to present the progress and achieved milestones regarding these projects.
