The cylinder head plants use technologies such as Gravity and Low Pressure Semi Permanent Mold, with the best Research and Development team in the metallurgical, process and manufacturing areas. The engine heads facilities boast a patented production process for this aluminum component called Nemak Low Pressure Precision Sand. Nemak Monterrey has the capacity to produce 12.8 million equivalent units per year.
Nemak Monterrey houses a Product Development Center (PDC), which focuses on prototype production, process development, product and tooling validation. The PDC consists of production equipment, and many capabilities such as CAD / CAM / CAE, dimensional lab, rapid prototyping, and production like equipment.
